Executive Hotel Pacific Overview
First Impressions
Walking into the Executive Hotel Pacific, you immediately get that classic downtown Seattle vibe — it’s a three-star property that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and honestly, that’s refreshing. The lobby has this understated business hotel feel that works perfectly for the Central Business District location. You know what struck me most? How the staff actually seemed to know what they were doing, which isn’t always a given at mid-range hotels in busy city centers.
Location & Getting Around
The location on Spring Street is honestly fantastic — I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Seattle‘s business district, so everything feels walkable. Pike Place Market is just a few blocks away, and you can easily stroll to the waterfront when you need a break from the urban hustle. What couples seem to love (and I get why they rated it 8.8) is that you’re close enough to all the action but tucked away on a quieter street. The parking situation is actually handled well here — they offer private parking, which is a huge relief because street parking downtown can be… well, let’s just say it’s not fun.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was clean and functional — think business traveler meets weekend getaway. Nothing fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the windows actually open (surprisingly rare in downtown hotels). The bathrooms are a bit compact, but they’ve been updated recently and everything works properly. You’ll find the usual amenities without any real surprises, though the Wi-Fi is solid and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable even during Seattle’s warmer months.
Breakfast & Dining
The continental breakfast is pretty standard fare — you’re getting pastries, coffee, some fruit, and basic hot items. It’s not going to blow you away, but it’ll definitely get you started for the day without having to hunt down a café first thing in the morning. The coffee is actually decent, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to fuel up for a day of exploring or business meetings. There’s no full-service restaurant on-site, but honestly, with Seattle’s incredible food scene just steps away, you’re not really missing out.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is the combination of location and value — you’re getting that prime downtown Seattle experience without paying premium hotel prices. The 7.3 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect: solid, reliable, and well-positioned. Business travelers appreciate the proximity to offices and meeting venues, while couples and leisure visitors love being able to walk to Pike Place, the waterfront, and all those great restaurants in Belltown. It’s the kind of hotel where you spend your time exploring the city rather than hanging around the property, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

The hotel was conveniently located downtown and close to the clipper terminal. Thankfully I didn’t have a lot of luggage as there is no elevator on the lobby floor. The front desk clerk helps to carry it down the steps to the elevator though which was nice.
