Here’s the thing about Bellevue — it gets overlooked by tourists who think Seattle proper is the only game in town, but this three-star hotel sits in one of the most practical spots you could ask for. You’re in the heart of Bellevue’s business district, which means actual restaurants and services within walking distance, not just gas stations and chain hotels. The couples rating of 9.4 for location makes total sense when you realize you can easily hop over to Seattle via I-90, but you’re also perfectly positioned for exploring the Eastside’s tech corridor and upscale shopping at Bellevue Square.

The Rooms

The suites here are what really set Hyatt House Seattle Bellevue apart from your typical hotel stay. Each room comes with a full kitchen — and I mean actually functional, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. The separate living area gives you room to spread out, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a night or two. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and there’s decent storage space for longer stays.

Food & Dining

You know what surprised me? The food here is legitimately good, not just “good for hotel food.” The breakfast buffet has that perfect balance of healthy options and comfort food — fresh fruit, decent coffee, and yes, they do the waffle station thing, but they do it well. The evening social hours (when they’re running) are actually worth showing up to, with real food and local beer options. Having that full kitchen in your room means you can hit up the nearby Whole Foods or local markets and actually cook, which saves money and feels more like living than just surviving on room service.

The free parking alone makes this place worth considering — if you’ve ever tried to park in downtown Seattle, you’ll understand why that’s huge.   Breakfast was great, gym was just alright as far as selection with weights etc. everything was clean, the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
  
  What could be improved: The staff asked us to change rooms to accommodate another guest/ room going out of service. We said that was fine. Then the in the morning we asked if we could go out shopping and come back and use the pool after our check out time or if we should just use the pool in the morning; we were told later would be fine but then the staff changed for the afternoon and we were told no for the pool. Super frustrating since we had planned around that and also made accommodations for the hotel. Not hospitable. We did them a favor, they certainly didn’t repay the flexibility despite the pool being completely empty.

  We have been staying here for a few years now everytime we travel to the west side of the state and we love it! It is very affordable, clean and staff is very friendly. Their breakfast is also amazing!

  Great property ! Clean and updated. The King Suite was good sized a well laid out. Nice kitchenette with micro and dishes, dishwasher. Bistro table and chairs were nice for morning coffee.
  Comfortable bed with nice linens. I felt we could have used a duvet though.
  Shower water pressure was very strong.
  We will stay again. Central to Bellevue downtown and East Seattle. Not far from Woodinville Wine tasting zone.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast was just OK. Eggs were not hot and toaster was not working well. Bread was dried out.

  My fiance said that the bed was one of the most comfortable she ever slept in.
  The room was very large and comfortable.

  I liked the room size, kitchen, lighting, etc. The location was very convenient and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay at a Hyatt House if the layout/size/features are all like this one. However, see my complaint about the hot water.
  
  What could be improved: The only complaint I have was that the hot water never got hot. It was lukewarm ('baby-safe' temperature), I like to take hot showers, but the shower never got even close to hot. I wouldn't mind a warm shower, but the water temperature never got past lukewarm. I complained on the first night and was told to let the water run a little longer. So, I tried this (15 minutes). It didn't work. We were there three nights. I suffered through this because we were only there to sleep and we got back late each night so I didn't have an opportunity to ask for another room.
