The Lake view
What could be improved: Nothing. Everything was perfect!Austin from United Kingdom – 9 March 2025 (2/10)
This property has a beautiful view of Lake Sammamish, is well located, is a large house with a nice floor plan, but is not well taken care of.
What could be improved: We arrived at specified checkout time of 4pm, but house had not been cleaned from previous guests. Dirty, unchanged bedsheets and towels, trash, and dirty dishes.
I informed the host at 4:15 pm – he said he would call me back. I didn’t hear from him, so called back an hour later. He said he had secured someone to come at 8:30 pm; I told him I would prefer much earlier, as it was not comfortable to settle into a dirty house with used bedsheets.
He called me at 8:00 pm and said although he had found someone to clean the house “tonight”, they were not familiar with the house and the “normal cleaner” could come the following morning. I said we absolutely needed clean bedsheets and towels before 10:00 pm.
We arrived at back to the property at about 9:45 pm and after dinner out and there was a very polite cleaner in the property freshening up. She left around 10:30 pm and we finally had clean linens, but not much else.
Unfortunately, there were still several other problems with the readiness of the property. The pillows in the master bedroom smelled musty and dank and were hard to sleep on. There are several burned out lightbulbs throughout the property that have not been replaced. The smoke detector in one of the upper level bedroom had no battery in it, and the smoke detector on the lower level w or in one of the upper level bedroom had no battery in it, and the smoke detector on the lower level was beeping due to a nearly dead battery and the battery had to be removed so that we could sleep without incessant beeping. Bathrooms were not supplied with hand soap. Mud and debris are all over the otherwise beautiful back patio and storm detritus blocking the outdoor stairway. This property has a beautiful view of Lake Sammamish, is well located, is a large house with a nice floor plan, but is not well taken care of. The front yard is also full of debris and not well tended. I cannot believe I spent more than 400 dollars per night for this property.María from Spain – 28 January 2025 (9/10)
Casa muy bonita con 2 terrazas grandes y jardín con vistas espectaculares. Muy limpio. Tranquilo. Muy apetecible a pesar de ser invierno. Volveríamos en verano.
