Luxury Downtown Studio King Bed City View Overview

First Impressions

When I first walked into Luxury Downtown Studio King Bed City View, I’ll be honest — the name had me expecting something a bit more upscale than what you actually get. This is a solid three-star property that delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable studio in an absolutely unbeatable location. The lobby is modest but welcoming, and you can tell right away that this place prioritizes function over flash.

The Heart of Seattle

Here’s what really matters though — the location is genuinely spectacular. You’re right in the thick of downtown Seattle, and I mean right in it. Pike Place Market is practically at your doorstep, and you can walk to the waterfront in about five minutes. What I love is that you’re close enough to everything that matters, but Hubbell Place itself is actually pretty quiet. The couples who stay here clearly get it — there’s something romantic about having the whole city spread out below you, especially when you can walk to dinner and drinks without dealing with rideshares or parking headaches.

The Studio Space

The room itself is exactly what you’d expect from a downtown studio — compact but thoughtfully laid out. The king bed takes up most of the space, but honestly, that’s fine because the city view is the real star here. During my stay, I found myself just standing by the window with my morning coffee, watching Seattle wake up below. The kitchenette is basic but functional — you’ve got a mini-fridge, microwave, and enough counter space to handle simple meals. It’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works and feels clean.

What Works (And What Doesn’t)

The building itself feels secure and well-maintained, which matters when you’re staying in the heart of a busy city. The elevators are quick, and I never had issues with noise from other guests or the street below. What you won’t find here are fancy amenities — no gym, no spa, no room service. But you know what? You’re in downtown Seattle. There’s a world-class fitness center two blocks away, and some of the best restaurants in the Pacific Northwest within walking distance.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not. The location score of 9.0 isn’t just marketing fluff — you really are in the perfect spot to explore everything Seattle has to offer. Whether you want to grab fresh flowers at Pike Place, catch a ferry to the islands, or just wander through the art galleries in Pioneer Square, you’re starting from the ideal home base. For couples especially, there’s something undeniably appealing about having your own little perch above one of America’s most walkable cities. The price point makes sense for what you get, and honestly, you’ll probably spend so much time exploring that you’ll mainly use the studio for sleeping anyway.

Seattle hotels keep guests close to Space Needle decks, indie record shops, and art-house cinemas.

No breakfast but had own kitchen,
Just off pike street, so easy access to most tourist spots.
Clean, comfortable apartment with super comfy beds
Most things supplied in the kitchen, and a dishwasher

What could be improved: The oven smoked and set off the smoke alarm, but host resolved the issue. No pantry basics except S & P.
There were martini glasses but no wine glasses!
Could use a vent in the bathroom
My daughter hated the pillows, too soft.

  • Roberto from El Salvador – 6 September 2024 (6/10)

Great location, just a few minutes walking from the shopping area in DT Seattle. I like walking and weather was nice during my stay so I was able to move everywhere by walking from this place.

What could be improved: The internet went down for more than 24hrs. The host wasn’t able to fix it, although she tried. I had to spend a lot of money on an e-SIM to give myself hotspot.

  • John from United States – 19 August 2024 (8/10)

  • Rebecca from Germany – 4 August 2024 (9/10)

Super comfortable, everything including the bed. Very clean and nice layout. The bathroom was very clean, had shampoo and conditioner (that worked wonders) and the bath tub is good to stand in. The kitchen is well equipped, and it has AC (which I didn’t use). Nice lighting too. Easy access to the building.

What could be improved: Getting the mail with the code took a while because none of the references/words in booking.com was in the mail.

  • Devid from Italy – 3 July 2024 (9/10)

  • Rory from United Kingdom – 26 June 2024 (8/10)

    Very comfortable apartment. Well located

What could be improved: Access arrangements could be better. Suggest there should be a key box or code to enter the apartment.
