Palihotel Seattle Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Palihotel Seattle feels like discovering one of those perfectly curated boutique spots that locals keep to themselves. This three-star gem sits right on Pine Street in the heart of downtown Seattle, and honestly — the location alone makes it worth considering. The lobby has this effortlessly cool vibe that’s distinctly Pacific Northwest without trying too hard, you know? It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel like you’ve made a smart choice.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally steps from Pike Place Market, which means you can grab fresh coffee and pastries without dealing with tourist crowds if you go early enough. The hotel scored a 9.4 for location, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why. You can walk to the waterfront in about ten minutes, catch a show at one of the nearby theaters, or just wander through the retail core. Plus, they actually have private parking available, which is honestly a godsend in this part of the city where finding a spot can be a nightmare.
The Room Experience
The room design strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and local character. I mean, it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — instead, you get clean lines, quality linens, and thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The windows offer decent views of the bustling street life below, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re right in the thick of things. What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the amenities — everything you need without unnecessary clutter.
Neighborhood Vibes
Being positioned where it is, you’re right in the pulse of Seattle’s energy. During the day, Pine Street buzzes with a mix of locals heading to work and visitors exploring, but it never feels overwhelming. The evening scene is particularly great for couples — which explains why they rated the location 9.4 for romantic getaways. You can easily walk to some fantastic dinner spots, catch live music, or just people-watch from one of the nearby cafes. The whole area has this authentic urban feel that makes you feel connected to the real Seattle, not just the tourist version.
Why Guests Love It
What sets Palihotel Seattle apart is how it manages to feel both centrally located and genuinely local at the same time. The 8.3 rating reflects what you experience — solid service, smart design choices, and a location that lets you actually enjoy the city instead of just surviving it. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually want: a comfortable base that puts you right where the action is. For the price point and the location, it’s honestly hard to beat.

Location and ambiance
What could be improved: Noisy room facing the marketJohn from Australia – 5 May 2025 (9/10)
I loved the quirkiness of the place, the loungeroom downstairs and the proximity to Pike’s place Market and the Light Rail Station. There is so much to see and do in the area – it’s wonderful! I also had a few drinks and several meals at the Hart and Hunter, which were very palatable.
What could be improved: The elevator is a little slow and the vanity is a little cluttered.Aoife from Canada – 27 April 2025 (7/10)
Hotel itself is lovely, super comfy beds and lovely decor
What could be improved: The receptionist said he would put us in a room not facing the alley but we ended up being put in that one anyway. Completely understand the mini fridge items being priced as is but bottles of water being 13 dollars, would have assumed getting water comped would be normal as in most hotels. Other than that nice hotel in a fab locationDeborah from United States – 24 April 2025 (9/10)

Location downtown near Market and a HOP ON bus stop.
What could be improved: The bed lamp did not work and could not be fixed! No reading in bed! 😞. The mattress was too soft. Pillows WAY too soft. No support for the neck. I was charged $400 OVER the agreed upon room cost and taxes upon checkin.Darla from Canada – 10 April 2025 (8/10)
Great location and friendly helpful staff

A quaintly renovated character building right downtown Seattle. Close to Pike market. Good location. Clean. Bed and linens were comfortable. The rooms are small – in keeping with the period of the building. Coffee Nespresso machine provided in room. Lighting over sink is dim.

This hotel is very convenient to Pike Place Market and the Seattle waterfront. I loved the boutique hotel vibe and the quirky details like the old style fridge that held the minibar items. There was just enough space for me to store my own bottle of water and a soda. The Nespresso machine was a great touch and I liked that tea was provided in addition to espresso pods. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I ordered room service breakfast which arrived within the time requested and it was an amazing serving of French toast and smashed breakfast potatoes.
What could be improved: The table holding the Nespresso machine was located in a corner without an electrical outlet, so I had to drag the table over to a spot near the door where I could plug in the machine. I wish there had been a chair in the room. I ordered room service breakfast (which was amazing), but had to eat it sitting on the bed with the tray sitting on the end of the bed next to me. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and I wish it had been brighter for makeup application.Anne from United States – 29 March 2025 (7/10)
What a great location! So easy to get here on the link from the airport! The room was small, but sumptuous linens, a well stocked mini bar and close to restaurants. The lounge was so cool, but no breakfast till 8:00! ( but coffee in the room!)

I liked the decor and vibe. Super close to the Pike Place market. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious brunch. Very friendly waitstaff there too.
What could be improved: Was a bit noisy- to be expected, it’s an old building so you can hear some street noise. There are some houseless folks in the area who were active at night. Wasn’t too bad!
