Penthouse Suite Downtown, Top Floor Overview
First Impressions
When I first stepped into the Penthouse Suite Downtown, Top Floor, I honestly wasn’t prepared for the view that hit me. This four-star property sits right on 2nd Avenue in Belltown, and from the top floor — well, you can see why they put that right in the name. The elevator ride up feels like anticipation building, and then those floor-to-ceiling windows reveal Seattle spread out below you like you’re surveying your own personal kingdom.
Location & Neighborhood
Belltown is where you want to be if you’re actually trying to experience Seattle, not just visit it. I mean, you’re walking distance from Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and honestly some of the best coffee shops that locals actually frequent. The Space Needle is right there too, but what I loved was how easy it was to just wander and discover things. You know what surprised me? How quiet it gets up on that top floor despite being in the heart of everything — the street noise just sort of fades away up there.
The Suite Experience
The room itself feels more like a high-end urban apartment than a typical hotel space. There’s this open layout that makes the most of those panoramic windows, and the furnishings strike that perfect balance between modern and comfortable. I spent way too much time just sitting by the windows with my morning coffee, watching the city wake up below. The kitchen area is actually functional too — not just for show like some places — which came in handy when we grabbed fresh ingredients from Pike Place.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches: they have free parking on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in downtown Seattle, you’ll understand why this is basically like finding gold. No circling blocks looking for a spot, no paying $30 a day at some sketchy garage three blocks away. Just pull up and you’re done. It’s one of those details that seems small until you actually need it, then it becomes everything.
Why Guests Love It
The couples’ rating makes total sense once you’re there — there’s something undeniably romantic about having Seattle laid out beneath you, especially when the city lights start twinkling at dusk. But honestly, I think anyone who appreciates good design and a prime location would fall for this place. The combination of that penthouse feeling with the energy of Belltown right outside your door creates this perfect urban retreat vibe. You’re not just staying in Seattle; you’re living above it, even if it’s just for a few nights. This restaurant-filled neighborhood offers endless dining options within walking distance, making it an ideal destination for food enthusiasts.

Reviews of Penthouse Suite Downtown, Top Floor
Tim from Netherlands – 3 May 2025 (8/10)
De locatie tussen downtown Seattle en space needle is gunstig. Ook fijn dat het appartement van alle gemakken voorzien was. De locale host (Leanne) was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
What could be improved: De communicatie vooraf was zakelijk neigend naar onvriendelijk. Donna from United States – 17 April 2025 (8/10)
I had asked for an early check in but waited at the door with my luggage for 4 hours. Another guest had the same experience.
What could be improved: The lack of mean full communicationGokay from United States – 12 April 2025 (9/10)

The location was what we wanted. Close to the space needle and Pike place market. The apartment and furnishings were very nice.
What could be improved: No water pressure. Downstairs bathroom water pressure was almost non-existent. Upstairs bathroom water was actually non-existent.
A 30-minute timer for water was explained to us. Not enough time to successfully run cycles of dishwasher or washing machine. Also insufficient to shower.
Oven was dirty.
Hot tub was revolting.
Host apologized for the smell of cat urine. It was still very unpleasant.
Host didn't show up for check-out. We obeyed all requirements. Subsequently received a bill of $275 for "toilet flush broken" on a toilet that was never usable.
I would recommend that this host not be allowed to continue to rent out this unit. For almost $400/night I could have gotten a room at any number of fine hotels in the area.
It was listed as a "Penthouse Suite". It was actually a 7th floor, 2-bedroom apartment.Rebekah from United States – 13 March 2025 (8/10)
Leanne was great! Very helpful and kind.

The apartment was very nice, however all the extra fees they charge ended up doubling the cost of my reservation. For example, charging a $50 tourist fee and then not offering any advice or pamphlets or suggestions is completely ridiculous. Also had to pay an exorbitant cleaning fee and then had to wash the dishes and take out the garbage upon leaving!! Another apartment in the same complex charges less than half of the cleaning fee, no “tourist” fee and less taxes above the normal city tax. These extra costs did not show up when making the reservation until I completed the booking process and there was a strict no cancellation policy.

Leanne the host who showed us around and gave us the keys was super nice, helpful, and responsive. Excellent location! Appreciated courtyard and pool/sauna.
What could be improved: I was very frustrated with all the info I had to provide and forms to fill out for property mgt LUXSLE ahead of time. Forms required taking my picture with my ID and sending close up pics of ID. Another req’d all credit card info and address provided via a Google doc even though I had provided payment info to Booking.com and couldn’t verify it would be secure. You’d have thought I was trying to buy the place! It said I could call with my credit card info but I could not submit the form excluding it and was reqd 24 hours in advance. The apt only appeared clean at first glance. The sink drains in the kitchen and bathrooms were just gross, as was bath tile. Furniture/appliances all well worn and badly marred but mattress was comfortable on bed. Didn’t appreciate the cleaning fee based on their expectation that you leave the place as you found it except for linens and towels.Anthony from United States – 19 January 2025 (8/10)
Centrally located. Nice gym. Macrina Bakery in same building. Very helpful staff.
What could be improved: Our washing machine broke.
