Perch – The Ashworth 67 Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Perch – The Ashworth 67, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical Seattle hotel. The four-star property sits right in Queen Anne, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re practically in the heart of one of Seattle‘s most charming neighborhoods, with that perfect mix of residential calm and urban energy that’s hard to find elsewhere. The hotel’s thoughtful design and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional stay in this vibrant neighborhood.

The Queen Anne Advantage

What I love about staying here is how you’re positioned between Lower Queen Anne’s buzzing restaurant scene and the quieter, tree-lined streets up the hill. You can walk to Seattle Center in about ten minutes — which means the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, and all those tourist spots are right there when you want them. But you know what’s even better? When you’re done with the crowds, you retreat back to this peaceful pocket where locals actually live and work. The neighborhood truly offers the best of both worlds for travelers seeking authentic Seattle experiences.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this modern, clean aesthetic that felt fresh without being sterile. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and you can actually see glimpses of the city from most floors. The beds are comfortable — not life-changing, but definitely good enough that I slept well after long days exploring. What impressed me most was the attention to small details: good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel cramped. Every element has been carefully considered to enhance your comfort.

Dining and Neighborhood Eats

While the hotel has its own dining establishment, I found myself venturing out quite a bit because Queen Anne has some fantastic dining options within walking distance. There’s this little coffee shop just two blocks away that locals swear by, and several solid dinner spots that don’t feel touristy at all. The hotel staff actually gave me some great recommendations — they clearly know the neighborhood well and aren’t just pointing you toward the obvious choices. Their insider knowledge truly enhances the dining experience for guests exploring the area.

Why Guests Love It

The location really is the star here, and I can see why couples rate it so highly. It’s got that romantic, residential Seattle vibe without being too far from everything you want to see. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this area, but the hotel handles it reasonably well. What struck me most was how the place manages to feel both polished and approachable — you’re not intimidated by over-the-top service, but everything runs smoothly. It’s the kind of place where you can dress up for a nice dinner or throw on jeans and a hoodie, and either way feels perfectly appropriate.

Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Seattle before winter light festivals glow through Pioneer Square.

Reviews of Perch – The Ashworth 67

  • Grace from United States – 1 September 2024 (9/10)

    Great location. Very responsive host.
Well set up kitchen with everything needed! It is nicely decorated with a good amount of bedrooms and bathrooms.
will come back next time if we are in the area again.
    We love the rooftop deck.

What could be improved: One of my group noticed there were a few pieces of hair on the bedding. It could be more clean.
The parking spot was a bit tight, and not very clearly marked.
There are lots of stairs outside and inside. It could be an issue for people who have mobility issues.
The furniture is a bit too big for the space. It could be cramped to walk around in the living room and the kitchen area.
