Queen Anne Retreat – 1 Blk from CPA – Free Parking Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Queen Anne Retreat – 1 Blk from CPA – Free Parking, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from what’s essentially a four-star apartment-style stay. But you know what? This place surprised me in the best way. It sits right on Queen Anne Avenue North, and the moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about what travelers need — not just what looks good in photos.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s the thing about Seattle — Queen Anne is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often overlook. You’re literally one block from Seattle Center, which means the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, and all those major attractions are right there. I mean, you can walk to Pike Place Market in about fifteen minutes if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll downhill. What really struck me though was how quiet it gets in the evenings, despite being so close to everything. It’s like having the best of both worlds — city access without the constant noise.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works really well here, especially if you’re staying more than a night or two. There’s a proper kitchen with everything you actually need (not just a mini-fridge and hope), and the room has this comfortable, lived-in feel without being worn down. The windows face Queen Anne Avenue, so you get some street life to watch but it’s not overwhelming. Honestly, the space feels more like borrowing a friend’s well-appointed place than staying in a typical hotel.
The Parking Situation
Let me tell you something about Seattle — parking is usually a nightmare and expensive as hell. So when I saw that free parking was actually included, I was skeptical. But it’s legit, and in this neighborhood, that’s probably saving you $25-30 a day easy. The spot is secure too, which matters when you’re dealing with city parking. I’ve stayed at places where “free parking” meant circling the block for twenty minutes hoping to find street parking, but this isn’t that situation at all.
Why Guests Love It
The location rating speaks for itself — couples are giving it a 9.9, and after spending time here, I get it completely. You’re close enough to walk to dinner in Belltown or catch a show at McCaw Hall, but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually relax. The whole setup just makes sense for people who want to experience Seattle like they live here, not just pass through. Plus, having that kitchen means you can grab groceries at the Whole Foods down the hill and actually save some money on meals — which in Seattle, trust me, adds up fast.
To book a hotel in Seattle during cherry blossom season, visitors mix UW quad strolls with ferry sunset sails.

We did not have a car so we did not have any issues. We went two restaurants near by and both were excellent!!! The bed was super comfortable for us. (We like firm bed)
What could be improved: We did not expect that we would have coffee beans at the room but we had. Although the taste was not good for us. I did not think this was an issue. But this would be the only we dislike.Tina from United States – 4 February 2025 (10/10)
Everything was great!
What could be improved: The only thing I'd say is better bed pillows 😊Pryce from United States – 4 November 2024 (10/10)
Cleanliness, space, rooftop view
What could be improved: N/AJuanita from Australia – 24 October 2024 (9/10)
Well designed, great location, light, comfortable, good kitchen.
What could be improved: No teabags- not everyone drinks coffeeSteven from United States – 9 October 2024 (10/10)
Communication from host was top notch. Very clear instructions for checking in and out. The location is also unbeatable for anybody attending an event at Climate Pledge Arena.
What could be improved: The parking situation was a bit of a pain, but that's probably because I'm just not used to parking in a place like downtown Seattle. Host did have a parking pass available, and we eventually figured it out. There was also a pay to park lot right next door which came in handy while we were figuring out how to use the permit.Pip from Australia – 4 October 2024 (10/10)
The location was amazing. So close to Climate Pledge and KEXP! The unit was pristine and the bed so comfortable.
Alexis from United States – 24 August 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was super clean! Perfect location for taking my son to his first concert at Climate Pledge. We only stayed for a night, but everything was stocked for a longer stay. Having the parking pass was great and gave me one less thing to have to worry about. So grateful for the parking map on the fridge! Absolutely would book again!
What could be improved: Everything was great! Parking was a little difficult given the concert going on, which is nothing on the host but just for future people booking to know.M from United States – 22 August 2024 (8/10)
What could be improved: Parking was very hard to find and parking farther away than comfortable to walk later into the evening.
Jordana from United States – 12 August 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was very clean and location was excellent! We were impressed by how organized everything was. Will definitely come back.
What could be improved: We arrived when a concert was about to start nearby, so finding parking was a challenge. But it was great to have the parking permit, and we were able to find parking close to the apartment after the show was over.Tara from United States – 9 August 2024 (10/10)
Loved the location and pricing to the Seattle Center.
