Capitol Hill is honestly one of Seattle’s coolest neighborhoods, and this place puts you right in the middle of it all. You’re walking distance from some incredible coffee shops (this is Seattle, after all), vintage stores, and restaurants that locals actually frequent. The fact that couples rate this spot so highly makes total sense — there’s something romantic about watching the city lights come on from your own private rooftop while the Space Needle glows in the distance. Plus, you can easily walk or take a quick ride downtown when you want to hit the touristy spots.

Let me be clear about something — I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise “city views,” and usually you’re squinting to see a sliver of skyline between buildings. This is different. The rooftop access gives you this panoramic perspective of Seattle that includes the Space Needle, Elliott Bay, and the city sprawling out below. I found myself heading up there with my morning coffee, then again at sunset, then once more before bed just because I could. The Sound views change throughout the day too, especially when the ferries are moving back and forth.
