The bus connections from this part of Wallingford are actually reliable, which isn’t something you can say about every Seattle neighborhood, and getting downtown takes maybe twenty minutes on a good day. There’s also this great little strip of restaurants and shops along 45th Street that feels authentically neighborhood-y, not like it was designed for tourists (though you’ll definitely want to check out some of the spots there).

  The unit is nicely updated, clean, comfortable beds, lots of light, quiet area, seemingly safe area, an introductory coffee service was provided as well as a few basics left in the cabinets (like oil), couch was comfortable, good TV, good appliances, and some good views – you can the bay and see the Space Needle a little bit.
  
  What could be improved: The check-in process lacked what would have been some useful detail. The address number is not visible from the street which made it harder to find. There are 4 units and it was not noted that this is Unit C so we had to message the owner and wait for reply. The keypad was modern, but lacked instructions on how to use. You don't just enter the code, you have to push other buttons in a certain order. The unit is very vertical – 4 levels with a bed on three levels and a living level (no bed or bathroom on that level), so lots of steps. I would not say there are 3 queen beds, only 2. The one on the ground floor is a trundle that when pulled out may sleep two people, one person on each tier, but not a queen bed.

  The property was perfect for our needs, great location, well equipped and very clean and tidy. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and everything went off without a hitch.
