Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally in the heart of Capitol Hill, which means you can walk to some of Seattle‘s best restaurants, and nightlife without dealing with rideshares or figuring out parking downtown. Broadway is this fantastic strip where locals actually hang out, not just tourists. You’ve got Dick’s Drive-In just down the street (seriously, try the deluxe burger), and Pike Place Market is close enough that you can easily walk there on a nice day. The fact that couples rate the location 9.0 makes total sense — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll through this artsy neighborhood together.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Seattle standards, with large windows that actually let in decent light — not always a given in this city. What struck me was how quiet it was despite being right on Broadway; they’ve clearly invested in good soundproofing. The beds are comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom feels modern without being sterile. You’ll find all the basics you need, plus some thoughtful touches like good lighting for getting ready and enough outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices.

Practical Perks

One thing that really sets this place apart is the private parking — and if you’ve ever tried to find parking in Capitol Hill, you know this is basically like finding gold. Recent guests have been rating the overall location 8.9, which tracks with my experience. The staff actually seems to know the neighborhood well, so they can point you toward things that aren’t just the obvious tourist spots. I mean, they told me about this little record shop around the corner that I never would have found otherwise.

  Good sheets, soft. Variety of pillow size and softness. Quiet. Art in lobby! Desk sent up extra tp and Kleenex. Front desk people very professional and personable, on phone and in person.

  What could be improved: Room #431. The Keurig machine seemed ancient and was temperamental. We had to hold button down to get coffee to perk and it took a while. Kept kicking off. Microwave was old and very slow. Round glass thing rattled and maybe did not fit right. Fridge had no freezer.
  
  All of these were minor. Just everything else seemed elegant, except appliances which were old and cheap. Even a fancy safe! I own nothing that needs a safe, so that made me laugh!!
