Staybridge Suites Seattle – Fremont by IHG Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Staybridge Suites Seattle – Fremont by IHG, you immediately get that “extended stay done right” feeling. This four-star property sits on Aurora Avenue North, which honestly sounds busier than it feels once you’re inside. The lobby has this warm, residential vibe that makes you forget you’re technically staying at a hotel — it’s more like crashing at a really well-organized friend’s place who happens to have excellent housekeeping.
The Fremont Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Fremont — you’re close enough to downtown Seattle to hit Pike Place or the waterfront without dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of it. The neighborhood has this quirky, artsy character (you know, the giant troll under the bridge and all that), but it’s also surprisingly practical for travelers. You’ve got decent restaurant within walking distance, and honestly, the fact that couples rate this location so highly tells you something about how peaceful it feels here compared to busier parts of the city.
Suite Life
The room setup is where this place really shines — we’re talking full suites with separate living areas and actual kitchenette. I mean, having a fridge and microwave might not sound revolutionary, but when you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family, it’s a game-changer. The beds are genuinely comfortable too (not just hotel marketing speak), which matters more than you’d think after a day of walking around Seattle’s hills. Everything feels clean and updated, not like those extended-stay places that seem stuck in 2005.
Morning Fuel
The continental breakfast here actually deserves mention — it’s a proper buffet setup, not just sad pastries and coffee. You’ll find hot options alongside the usual suspects, and the dining area gets good natural light in the mornings. What’s nice is that it doesn’t feel rushed or cramped, even when the hotel’s busy. Plus, having that kitchen in your suite means you can grab extra fruit or yogurt to keep for later, which I always appreciate.
Why Guests Love It
The private parking situation alone makes this place worth considering — anyone who’s tried to park in Seattle knows what a relief that is. But really, it’s the combination of space, location, and that residential feel that sets it apart. You’re getting the services of a solid hotel with the comfort of having your own little temporary home base. The staff seems to get that extended-stay guests have different needs than typical hotel visitors, and they handle everything accordingly. For the price point and the amount of space you get, especially in this part of Seattle, it’s honestly a pretty smart choice for families and business travelers alike.

Interior lobby, breakfast are and room were great Customer service was friendly and well done. Room size was good and we were in a quiet side of the hotel. Workout room was clean and tidy.
What could be improved: Pool area needs renovation. The pool was green and the hot tub was grungy looking. It was clean but needs cosmetic work.Mannitscat from Canada – 17 February 2025 (9/10)
We genuinely loved this hotel. Rooftop views are brilliant, lounge area is comfy. Pool is nice and hotel clean. Staff are brilliant and very accommodating. Wish I’d known happy hour is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I’d have moved my stay up as it was a lot of fun. The hotel is also very accessible for disabled guests.
What could be improved: Check in was an hour late. Parking is $20 a night.Breanna from United States – 21 January 2025 (7/10)
The room was nice and spacious.
What could be improved: Booked this hotel for the hot tub and it was cold the entire stay. Breakfast doesn’t start until 730 on the weekends which doesn’t say that on the website it says 630. So being their for a sports tournament it was disappointing to not have it available like listed.Ashly from United States – 7 January 2025 (8/10)
The lady at the front desk was so sweet. Her hospitality was above and beyond. The suite was nice.
What could be improved: Pool was closed which wasnt a big deal but the hot tub wasnt very hot and was over chlorined our eyes started to burn.Virginia from United States – 28 December 2024 (9/10)
