The waterfront is a quick five-minute walk, and Pioneer Square’s galleries and cafes are right there when you want to explore. What really sold me though was how easy it was to grab an Uber or just walk to most places you’d actually want to visit. The parking situation is handled on-site too, which honestly saves you from the nightmare of finding a spot downtown.

The Room Experience

The room itself feels like someone’s really well-designed apartment rather than a hotel space. There’s genuine attention to detail here — custom artwork, quality linens that actually feel luxurious, and windows that frame the city views perfectly. You know what really impressed me? The beds live up to their reputation for comfort. I’m usually a light sleeper in hotels, but I slept through the night every time. The bathrooms are spacious with those deep soaking tubs that you’ll actually want to use after a day of walking around the city.

The fitness center is well-equipped but compact, and there’s a business center that’s actually useful if you need to print boarding passes or handle work stuff. The concierge team knows their stuff too — they pointed me toward some lesser-known spots that ended up being highlights of my trip.

  Comfortable bed. Good room size. We stayed for 5 nights. On the 4th night, leaks from bathroom ceiling. They moved us to another room which is very courteous as it was larger. Thank you.

  The location was great. Only a few blocks from Pike’s Market and the piers. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Guest services were friendly.
  
  What could be improved: The resort fee was ridiculous. This hotel wasn’t a resort and there weren’t many resort services. Although there was a “mini bar”/refrigerator in the room the beverages and snacks were outrageously priced. There was a 3 year old craft brew (Christmas seasonal) left as our beer selection. Just reduce or remove the resort fee.
  
  The bar/cafe left us wanting more. They closed at 10pm and on Friday when they stayed open until 11pm, they wouldn’t serve cocktails after 9:30. During breakfast, you could only have hard boiled or scrambled eggs. The coffee was lukewarm; terrible for a city renowned for its coffee scene.
  
  There’s a perfume store as you enter the hotel. If you’re sensitive to odors, this is a big let down. And, it wafts into the cafe/bar across the corridor.
  
  The valet damaged the car of our traveling partners. It was discovered when they were checking out. Not sure how it will end, they’re investigating.

  The location was perfect — a short walk down to the waterfront and close to all of the tourist sites. Easy to get around on foot. Ubers were prompt for longer rides. I upgraded to a suite and it was huge! More space than I really needed, but it was a very pleasant surprise. Coffee maker in the room was great for morning before embarking on my day. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower. Very comfortable bed. Great design in the room with nice, upscale furnishings.
  
  What could be improved: I did not eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on any of the food offerings.

  The hotel is beautiful, with beatiful artwork throughout. The staff was always extremely pleasant and helpful. The bar/restaurant has great ambiance that comlliments and enhances the stay.
