Charming 2BR Townhouse near Green Lake Overview
First Impressions
The Charming 2BR Townhouse near Green Lake honestly surprised me — and I mean that in the best way possible. When I first pulled up to this four-star property on 6th Ave NE, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical residential street. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. The townhouse has this welcoming, lived-in feel that immediately puts you at ease, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a friend’s place than a sterile hotel room.
The Green Lake Advantage
Here’s what locals know — Green Lake is actually one of Seattle‘s best-kept secrets for visitors who want to experience the city like a resident. I’m talking about a three-mile loop around the lake that’s perfect for morning jogs, and honestly, some of the best people-watching in the city. The townhouse sits just close enough that you can walk to the lake in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds right outside your door. Plus, you’ve got Whole Foods and a handful of solid coffee shops within walking distance — which, let’s be real, is essential in Seattle.
Space That Actually Works
The two-bedroom setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel stay. I mean, when was the last time you had a proper living area where you could actually spread out? The kitchen isn’t just for show either — it’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries and cook a real meal. The bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged too, with the master feeling genuinely spacious and the second bedroom working perfectly as either extra sleeping space or, honestly, just somewhere to dump all your stuff without cluttering the main living area.
Practical Perks
Let me tell you about the parking situation, because if you’ve ever tried to park in Seattle, you’ll appreciate this. The townhouse comes with its own private spot right on-site, which is honestly worth its weight in gold around here. No circling the block for twenty minutes, no feeding meters, no worrying about street cleaning schedules. It’s one of those things that seems small until you actually need it, and then you realize how much stress it saves you. The whole setup just works smoothly — from check-in to daily logistics.
Why Guests Love It
What really comes through in talking to other guests is how this place hits that sweet spot between comfort and location. Couples especially seem to love it here, and I get why — there’s something romantic about having your own little Seattle hideaway rather than being stuck in a generic downtown hotel. The neighborhood has this authentic residential vibe where you’re living alongside actual Seattleites, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine extending your stay just because it feels so natural to be there.
Seattle hotels keep guests close to Space Needle decks, indie record shops, and art-house cinemas.

I highly recommend this house, and certainly I will consider it next time in Seattle
What could be improved: The dishwasher wasn’t working properlyRobin from United States – 4 December 2024 (9/10)
The location is excellent – close to the Roosevelt Link station that goes to UW, downtown, and the airport. Easy walk to the station. The neighborhood is very nice. My husband ran around Green Lake every day we stayed there. There is a Whole Foods store and a Safeway a short drive away plus a local grocery store that you can walk to in about 3 minutes. The beds were fabulous and the bedding was super soft and nice. The townhouse has 4 floors – just so you know that there are stairs to climb! The ground floor is the entrance and garage; the second floor is the kitchen, living area, and half bath; the third floor is the secondary bedroom, attached bathroom, and laundry area; the fourth floor is the main bedroom and attached bathroom. Most of our time was spent in the living room/kitchen area which was very nice. The kitchen was large enough for us to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner and have 3 of us in the kitchen at one time. There is no dining area, but the bar is large and worked well for us. The heat was controlled with individual thermostats in the living area and the two bedrooms which was nice, and the heat worked well for us. Note that it is possible to have the units run on either high or low (there is a switch on each unit).
What could be improved: There was a little confusion on parking — the listing said that there was private parking. There is parking on the street, but you can’t park in the driveway because it is shared with another townhouse. The parking situation should be addressed in the listing. The living area is cozy but the fireplace did not work when we were there. I messaged the owner several times, and they gave me suggestions for things to try to get the fireplace work, but it did not work. The other downside was the traffic noise because the townhouse is very close to Interstate 5. The sound didn’t bother us too much because we usually were busy cooking or had the tv on during the day, and at night we had fans running to drown out the noise. If we had stayed there during a time when the weather was nicer and we had the windows open, the traffic noise would have been bothersome. However, I did see several portable A/C units in the townhouse — so maybe with the A/C units running and some fans going the noise would not be too bad. There were several large fans in the house which was a plus. Both bedrooms also had ceiling fans although I could not find a control for one of the ceiling fans. Overall we loved staying in the townhouse but there are several small things the owner should address that would make the place even nicer and more welcoming (fireplace, ceiling fan control, no water dispenser or ice in fridge, no lamps in living room – just overhead lights, no glasses in kitchen – just cups, pans and cutting boards were in bad shape, sink plunger did not work in secondary bath, etc.). These are all small things that the owner could address with little cost or effort, so hopefully the townhouse will be even nicer to stay in with some small improvements.Pamela from Chile – 3 December 2024 (8/10)
The house is gorgeous and very comfortable, and it’s located in Green Lake, an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed our stay very much, slept very well, and could enjoy the neighborhood life as it was pretty close to everything (markets, good restaurants, and the lake itself). The house was very clean and well-equipped for our needs. The hosts were very kind and even agreed to extend our stay when we needed it.
What could be improved: The highway is nearby so some noise from it can be heard especially during the day. Everything else was pretty great!Kushin from Taiwan – 4 November 2024 (8/10)

Liked location and layout. Good to have beds/baths on each level. Very attractive interior and window views of autumn leaves outside just beautiful. Host responsive to our questions via text.
What could be improved: Traffic outside is noisy. Wish we’d had some coffee provided and more water glasses.Summer from United States – 7 October 2024 (9/10)
