This spot on Hubbell Place is honestly perfect — you can walk to Pike Place Market in about ten minutes, but you’re also close enough to Capitol Hill that you feel connected to the real Seattle. I spent one evening just wandering between the two neighborhoods, and it hit me how smart this location really is. The couples who stay here definitely get it — there’s something romantic about having both the urban energy and the neighborhood charm right at your doorstep.

The Space Itself

The room setup is pretty clever, actually. That king bed is seriously comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and having a proper kitchen changes everything about how you experience a city. I made coffee in the morning and picked up fresh ingredients from the market — it felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. The eclectic part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either; there are these thoughtful design touches that feel curated rather than corporate.

What Makes It Work

Here’s the thing about Seattle — it’s a city where you want to feel like a local, not just pass through. This place gets that completely. I found myself using it as a real base, not just somewhere to crash. The kitchen meant I could grab those amazing cherries from the farmers market and actually enjoy them properly. Plus, being able to walk to both the waterfront and the hill neighborhoods meant I never felt like I was missing out on either side of the city’s personality.

  Nette Wohnung in praktischer Lage. Gute Ausstattung.
  
  What could be improved: Check-in mit Code für die Tür hat nicht gut geklappt, vermutlich kam die SMS am deutschen Handy nicht an. Die Gastgeber haben allerdings prompt auf telefonische Nachfrage gut reagiert. Insgesamt alles etwas bürokratisch, z.B. der checkout mit Beweisfotos für die zurückgelassenen Wohnungsschlüssel. Typisch für Unterkünfte, die von Remote betreut werden, nicht so mein Favorit.

  Room was very comfortable and modern. Nice bedding and shower was great. The chilled water and ice dispenser was conveniently located in the passage outside of the room. Great location.
  
  What could be improved: Service staff were useless and uncaring. The first day for example our breakfast wasn’t delivered after ordering. Front desk staff are also pretty young with zero training and no problem solving expertise.

  The building is centrally located but situated on a quiet location, which is nice. The apartment is so well-equipped that it feels like a home away from home. The staff team is very helpful and understanding.
  
  What could be improved: It’d be nice if there is another AC unit in the living room because the city can get really hot in the summer.
