Embassy Suites By Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Embassy Suites By Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square, you immediately get that classic all-suites vibe — you know, the kind where you actually have space to spread out instead of living out of a suitcase on your bed. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Pioneer Square, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The lobby has that polished Hilton feel without being too stuffy, and the staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing.

Location & Neighborhood

Pioneer Square is Seattle‘s oldest neighborhood, and staying here puts you right in the middle of everything that matters. You’re literally steps from the ferry terminal if you want to hop over to the islands, and the sports stadiums are close enough that you can walk to Seahawks or Mariners games. What I really love about this spot is how walkable everything is — Pike Place Market is about a 10-minute stroll, and you’ve got easy access to the waterfront without dealing with the tourist chaos of some other downtown hotels. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 9.5), and I can see why — there’s something romantic about wandering these historic brick streets together.

The Suites

Here’s where Embassy Suites really delivers — every room is actually a suite, which means you get a separate living area with a couch and workspace. The bedroom feels properly separate, not just divided by a curtain or something halfhearted like that. I mean, when you’re traveling for business or staying more than a couple nights, having that extra space makes a huge difference. The suites are well-maintained and comfortable, though don’t expect cutting-edge design — it’s more about functionality and having room to breathe.

Breakfast & Amenities

The complimentary breakfast is continental style, which honestly works better than you’d expect. They do the made-to-order omelets thing, plus all the usual suspects — fresh fruit, pastries, coffee that’s actually decent. What’s nice is the atrium setting where they serve it; there’s something pleasant about starting your day in that open, airy space. Parking is available on-site, which in downtown Seattle is basically a small miracle — though expect to pay for it, because this is still a major city center.

Why Guests Love It

The combination of space, location, and reliable service is what keeps people coming back here. Recent guests have been rating the location at 9.4, and after spending time in this neighborhood, I totally get it. You’re close enough to everything important but far enough from the Pike Place crowds that you can actually relax. The suites give you options — whether you want to order takeout and eat at your own table or just have somewhere to sit that isn’t your bed. It’s not the flashiest hotel in Seattle, but it delivers on the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re trying to enjoy a trip.

What could be improved: No complaints

  • Kerrisa from United States – 1 May 2025 (9/10)

I wasn’t sure what we were expecting but the pictures didn’t do our room justice. The room was huge, clean and comfortable.

  • Karol from United States – 29 April 2025 (8/10)

room, afternoon reception, breakfast, fitness club all excellent. Staff wonderful

What could be improved: No regular sugar by our room coffee pot. Loose foot shelf in the shower. Shampoo bottle in shower empty – irritating little things that are not expected at the cost point.

  • Walter from United States – 28 April 2025 (9/10)

Remodeled. Looks very nice good restaurant

  • Edwin from United States – 22 April 2025 (9/10)

    Closer to Stadium and waterfront

What could be improved: Parking need to be included free and not additional charges

  • Laura from United States – 17 April 2025 (9/10)

The room was absolutely amazing and you can not beat the location!

What could be improved: The "cocktail hour" was very busy which is obviously not in there control. But there was just a bowl of fruit and a nut mix all over the counter

  • Ty from United States – 14 April 2025 (9/10)

Had a Very nice view of the city, the room was spacious and comfortable bed. Our stay was the best hotel experience I’ve had ever.

  • Raymond from United States – 8 April 2025 (9/10)

Some of the staff were very nice others were to not be rude very snobbish and unpolite, and I’m talking about the front desk staff. The breakfast and all the staff at the breakfast were amazing and were the best breakfast that I’ve received at a hotel ever. I did not like having to pay $60 a day for parking from the hotel, so the hotel shares a garage with another company that is connected to the hotel to go through the hotel at $60 a night to go through the garage company it’s $55 a night. Yes they give you access to your vehicle all the time but as a nuisance.

  • Bailey from United States – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
