La Residence Suite Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking into La Residence Suite Hotel, you immediately get that “this isn’t your typical chain hotel” feeling. The lobby has this understated elegance that feels more like stepping into a well-appointed apartment building than a standard three-star property. What struck me right away was how quiet everything felt — even though you’re right in the heart of Bellevue’s tech corridor, the soundproofing here is actually impressive. The staff genuinely seemed to know guests by name, which honestly surprised me for a hotel this size.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about this spot on 100th Avenue Northeast — it’s one of those locations that locals know is perfect, but visitors often stumble upon by accident. You’re literally minutes from Bellevue Square and the downtown core, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. I mean, couples consistently rate the location a 9.6, and after spending time here, I totally get why. The Microsoft campus is practically next door, and you can walk to some seriously good restaurants that most tourists never find. Plus, having free private parking in this area? That’s worth its weight in gold.
The Suites
The rooms are where La Residence Suite Hotel really shows its value. These aren’t just hotel rooms with a sitting area tacked on — they’re actual suites with separate living spaces that feel livable. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped (I’m talking full-size refrigerator, not some mini-bar situation), and the work areas actually work for people who need to get things done. What I loved most was the attention to lighting — there are enough lamps and overhead options that you’re not squinting at your laptop or struggling to read at night.
Breakfast & Practical Perks
The continental breakfast setup is pretty solid for what it is, though don’t expect anything fancy — think quality basics done well. What’s clever is their breakfast-to-go option, which is perfect if you’re heading out early for meetings or sightseeing. The coffee is actually decent (not that hotel lobby stuff that tastes like it’s been sitting for hours), and they keep things stocked throughout the morning rush. Having that free parking I mentioned earlier means you can come and go without the stress of finding street spots or paying those ridiculous downtown rates.
Why Guests Love It
This three-star property punches above its weight because it focuses on the stuff that actually matters during a stay. You get space to spread out, a location that puts you right where you need to be, and service that feels personal without being intrusive. Business travelers appreciate the functional workspace and reliable WiFi, while couples love having a real living room to relax in after exploring the area. It’s not trying to be flashy or trendy — La Residence Suite Hotel just delivers a comfortable, well-thought-out experience that makes you want to book again next time you’re in Bellevue.

breakfast was very minimalistic. The rest was very good

Amazing location, very clean, and amazing staff that was very attentive! The room has all you need to have a comfortable stay!
What could be improved: Slightly outdated and has a bit of an old building smell from time to time but it was nice overall!Ella from United States – 7 April 2025 (8/10)
Great location near to the downtown park and restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was very convenient laundry facilities on site.
Emil from Poland – 1 April 2025 (8/10)
I expected something more from breakfast than sweets only. For someone who must watch the sugar paying for a "breakfast inclued" is not justified
John from United States – 5 March 2025 (8/10)
Proximity to central Bellevue
What could be improved: A bit dated but great for the priceMark from United States – 1 March 2025 (9/10)
Amazing location just outside of the skyscrapers, but close to the water and old Bellevue! Awesome rooms! Super friendly staff. The room is like apartment with a full kitchen and a full bathroom! Super cozy.
What could be improved: I wish the lobby and breakfast/coffee was open before 7 AMCyndi from United States – 16 February 2025 (9/10)
Breakfast was great! I selected fresh fruit, boiled eggs, and a healthy energy puck from the continental offerings, and my husband cooked his favorite pancakes in the fully-equipped en suite kitchen using a mix he brought from home.
What could be improved: Only a slightly odd smell in our room, like old cooking.Venegas from United States – 15 February 2025 (9/10)
the room was big with everything you need to cook
What could be improved: everything was goodBeatriz from United States – 7 January 2025 (9/10)
The room was really nice.
What could be improved: The parking lot had like little mountain. It was little hard to park especially parking facing down.Megan from United States – 6 January 2025 (9/10)
The staff here was absolutely amazing! So kind and friendly they gave us water bottles snacks, and we’re super accommodating to all of our other needs. It was very close to the mall, which is what we were looking for literally right across the street. Also free parking.
The room was very clean and we are very comfortable the entire time. The couch was super comfy too, which was surprising.
What could be improved: The only thing I didn’t like was the room did have a stale smell. However, the staff was so amazing. Got us some smell goods right away. I also just bought a candle and lit it and that was totally fine.
