Modern Craftsman Garden Patio in Georgetown Overview

First Impressions

The Modern Craftsman Garden Patio in Georgetown honestly surprised me — and I mean that in the best way possible. You know how sometimes a place just feels right the moment you walk in? This four-star gem tucked away on Flora Avenue has that quality. The Georgetown neighborhood isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but that’s actually part of its charm — you’re staying in a real Seattle area where locals live and work, not some sanitized hotel district.

The Space Itself

What you’re getting here is essentially a beautifully designed apartment with serious attention to detail. The craftsman-style architecture shows in every corner, from the built-in shelving to the way natural light filters through the windows. The garden patio — well, it’s not just a marketing name. There’s actually a lovely outdoor space where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. The kitchen is fully equipped, which I appreciated since Seattle’s food scene is so good that you’ll want to bring home ingredients from Pike Place Market and local vendors.

Location Perks

Georgetown sits just south of downtown, and honestly, the location works better than you’d expect. You’re about a 10-minute drive to Pioneer Square, maybe 15 to Capitol Hill on a good traffic day. The neighborhood itself has this industrial-meets-residential vibe — there are art studios, a few solid coffee shops, and Georgetown Records if you’re into vinyl. Free parking right on site is huge here, because anyone who’s tried to park in Belltown or near the waterfront knows what a headache that can be. The accessibility to major attractions makes this an ideal base for exploring.

Why Couples Choose This Place

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something intimate about staying in a real neighborhood rather than a busy hotel corridor. The room feels like a retreat, and that garden patio I mentioned? Perfect for sharing a bottle of wine after a day of exploring. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough away to actually relax. Plus, having your own space means you can decompress without dealing with hotel lobby crowds or elevator small talk.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.7 rating makes sense once you experience the place. It’s the kind of spot where everything just works — the Wi-Fi is solid, the space is thoughtfully designed, and you feel like you’re getting a genuine Seattle experience rather than a generic hotel stay. The hosts clearly know what they’re doing, and the attention to detail shows in ways that matter to actual travelers. Georgetown might not be the first neighborhood you’d think to book, but after staying here, you’ll understand why locals are protective of this little corner of the city. The combination of comfort, authenticity, and thoughtful design creates a memorable stay.

Seattle hotels pair craft roaster cuppings, speakeasy jazz, and concierge-led Puget Sound cruises.

Reviews of Modern Craftsman Garden Patio in Georgetown

  • Lamar from United States – 3 April 2025 (9/10)

The house was very nice and well maintained. Had plenty of supplies available. Access to the house was easy, and street parking was available. The owner of the property was responsive to any questions.

What could be improved: The only issue I had were with ants. We left food out on the counter, and ants had come into the kitchen the next morning. Luckily, there was bug spray available at the house. Come to find out after talking with family in the area, ants are very common, so it was not a big deal.

  • Giselle from United States – 26 March 2025 (10/10)

Centrally located to the airport, walking distance from downtown Georgetown, nice walking neighborhood. Shops and restaurants within walking distance and located to the venue I went to Seattle to attend. Close to family location as well.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • Lan from United States – 4 January 2025 (10/10)

The unit has three bedrooms and the main bedroom has its own small bathroom. Location is perfect, close to everything, the airport, shopping, restaurants, even the Museum of Flight! The kitchen is spacious and has essential cookware and plenty of dinnerware. There’s an electric pot, which is super convenient for hot water. There are washer and dryer and extra towels. Everything you need for a long vacation for a family up to six people.

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • Jo from United States – 19 June 2024 (10/10)

Comfortable, lots of kitchen supplies, very clean, easy parking. It had everything we needed

What could be improved: Planes overhead were a bit noisy but it wasn’t an issue for our group.

  • Kelly from United States – 2 April 2024 (9/10)

I liked the whole residency and amenities.

What could be improved: I wish It was a bit closer to downtown and had suggestions on good places to visit/travel to

  • Chi from United States – 30 March 2024 (10/10)

The house is clean and comfortable. The owner pays attention to detail. My wife was happy to see a pair of gloves in the kitchen that are helpful during the cleanup.

  • Rhonda from United States – 16 October 2023 (10/10)

I am not a downtown Seattle kind of person. I brought my adult kids and we just wanted a couple days of doing whatever we wanted in town without the stress of trying to navigate downtown every day. This house was in a great little location. The neighborhood was cute and was perfect for taking my dog for a walk without feeling unsafe. The house was absolutely lovely and quaint inside with all of the amenities we needed.

What could be improved: There is nothing I can complain about. The house was wonderful and the host was super responsive when I had a special request. There was even ice in the freezer. Loved it

  • Tran from Canada – 31 August 2023 (10/10)

Spacious and beautifully furnished and clean.

What could be improved: Just a bit far from tourist attractions and hearing planes at night.
