Modern, new & industrial in Georgetown Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Modern, new & industrial in Georgetown, you immediately get that “wow, this is different” feeling. The space has this cool industrial vibe that actually works — exposed brick, clean lines, and just enough edge without feeling cold. I mean, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting, but seeing it in person really drives home how thoughtfully they’ve designed this place. It’s one of those spots where you can tell someone put real thought into every detail.
The Georgetown Experience
Here’s what I love about staying in Seattle‘s Georgetown neighborhood — you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough away to actually relax. This four-star property sits right in one of the city’s most interesting areas, honestly. Georgetown has this authentic, slightly gritty charm that feels way more real than some of the touristy spots downtown. You’ve got great coffee shops within walking distance (this is Seattle, after all), and the whole area has this creative energy that’s pretty infectious. The neighborhood truly captures the spirit of the Pacific Northwest with its vibrant local culture and welcoming atmosphere.
Your Room
The room design stays true to that industrial theme, but they’ve made it surprisingly cozy. High ceilings, big windows, and furnishings that feel both modern and comfortable — you know what I mean? It’s not trying too hard to be trendy, which I appreciate. The beds are actually really comfortable (sometimes these design-focused places forget about that basic stuff), and there’s plenty of space to spread out. Plus, the soundproofing is solid, so you’re not hearing every little noise from the street or neighboring rooms. Every detail has been carefully considered to enhance your comfort and relaxation.
Practical Perks
One thing that really sets this place apart — they’ve got free private parking right on site, which honestly is a huge deal in Seattle. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stayed somewhere and ended up circling blocks looking for a spot or paying ridiculous daily rates. The location scores really well with guests (they’re hitting 8.3 out of 10), and after staying here, I totally get why. You’re positioned perfectly for exploring both the neighborhood and getting to other parts of the city without the hassle. This convenience factor makes a real difference in your overall stay experience.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.3 guest rating speaks for itself, but what really stands out is how much couples seem to love this place. There’s something about the atmosphere here that just works for romantic getaways — maybe it’s the intimate scale, or the way the industrial design creates these cozy little moments. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing too; everything runs smoothly without feeling overly formal or stuffy. It’s that sweet spot where you get excellent service but still feel like you can just be yourself and unwind properly. This balance between sophistication and comfort is what keeps guests coming back.
To book a hotel in Seattle during cherry blossom season, visitors mix UW quad strolls with ferry sunset sails.

the property was well appointed, beautifully decorated. the host was quick to respond with any issues and questions.
What could be improved: The towel bar and tp holder fell off the wall. i was nervous, because i hear horror stories of people getting charged for things like that. However, the host handled it wonderfully. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy, but we felt safe once settled in.Ariana from United States – 7 September 2024 (10/10)

Our host provided clear instructions, so no problems when we arrived and settled in. Unit B was clean and very organized. We cooked some meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen. On our 4th night after a long day out we came back to a minor plumbing issue and our host responded to us right away. He was able to get a plumber to the unit, on a Sunday after 9 pm, within an hour.
Unit B is very spacious, quiet and extremely comfortable. There is parking on site for one car and ample street parking.Judith from United States – 10 May 2024 (9/10)
