The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, though don’t expect anything fancy — this isn’t trying to be boutique chic. What it lacks in designer touches, it makes up for in thoughtful details. The bed was actually really comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling cramped. The windows let in good natural light, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with Seattle’s famously gray days. Plus, there’s reliable Wi-Fi and decent water pressure in the shower — sometimes it’s the basics that count most.

Getting Around

Here’s where this place really shines — the location makes everything accessible without the downtown hotel prices. You can catch a bus to Pike Place Market or Capitol Hill pretty easily, but honestly, I found myself just walking around the neighborhood more than I expected. There’s parking available, which is huge if you’re planning day trips to places like Snoqualmie Falls or the wineries over in Woodinville. The Burke-Gilman Trail is right there too, so if you’re into biking or running, you’ve got miles of scenic path along the water.
